Anti bacterial

Bacteria are the cause of cycling clothing with a “bad odor”. Body odor is caused by bacteria that break down sweat (oil) and is largely linked to the apocrine glands.

A silver ion is part of the silver element. Silver is a natural mineral that has antimicrobial functions. These silver ions are incorporated into the fabric in a special way, which ensures that it kills the bacteria and prevents further development.

By means of a special technique, the silver ions are processed in the recycled Polyester/Polyamide fabric. This creates the highest antibacterial effect, which ensures that the back fabric of this jersey eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria.

Our fabric has been extensively tested and approved by the independent testing organization Intertek.

After 50 washes, the antibacterial effect is still 80%.
